Forum Update

A Gut Moed, As you can see I spent some time tonight on updating the forum, I changed the template and updated the member list. Apologies to all new members for this taking so long. You may have noticed we started labeling some of the posts so that they can be more easily found, the topics are listed on the right under labels. Hopefully the labels will increase with time as we continue to go back and label old posts. Meanwhile if you could please label posts after you write them with a few key words on the side, that would be great. Wishing all contributors and readers a Gutten Kvittel!

Please add labels to your posts

Hi All, You can see on the bottom left below the names I have recently added a section called "Labels".  Every time you put labels on the bottom of your post, your post will then be able to be accessed by people searching the topic you have written about. I have recently asked someone to add tags to  all past posts so that the forum can be properly indexed. However, from now on I'd greatly appreciate if all posters could post it themselves. Please use multiple labels. For example if your shailah pertains to a negiyah between alef and beis in a mezuzah, labels should include "alef" "beis" "negiyah" and possibly even "mezuzah". If you are not sure how to spell a word, please look at other labels and see how it was spelled. Thus will basically mean we will have one label per keyword ie not three ie (mezuza, mezuzah, meziza ). Thanks

Forum Update

Hi All, I have had some time this evening to update the forum Members list as well as make a few changes to the general layout that will hopefully make it more user friendly. My eventual goal is still to find a sponsor for this forum and have it laid out more professionally, as well have all the posts classified into proper subject groups. I wanted it to build up a little before approaching potential donors but I'm thinking its already getting there, so hopefully I will be able to take things to the next level soon. I'm also meeting a lot of sofrim and magihim here in Israel who would contribute if it was in Hebrew. I don't think anyone would have any objections if a post or two here or there appeared in Hebrew. It would still be predominantly for English speaking sofrim. I would like to thank everyone for their contributions and posts. Please put a few tags at the end of your posts in the future. (Not everyone has been doing this and it helps a lot when you are sea
