ayin

There once was a debate in regard to this type of ayin, since there is no break in the slant-right side of the ayin. Does anyone know details about this issue?

  1. Hi R. Moshe,
Look at SEFEKUT HASOFER -#5 on the letter Ayin. There he has a gloss on the issues involved. The main point being is that according to many the AYIN does not require a MOSHAV. Rather the body of the letter descends from the ROSH.
