  1. Regardless of the clamp, the main point is to tilt the bayis in the clamp so that it can align it perfectly. After it is aligned one should add at least some glue to lock it at that position (obviously after it was already sewn).

  2. Anything that does the job is fine However, I'm suggesting the best option based on my 30 years and that of many other people who work with batim. The indentation that it comes with on one side is perfect for setting it on an angle. This clamp costs around $20 in the US.

  3. These are called drill press clamps, and an assortment of them can be found on Amazon.
