Private buyer looking for a super mehudar Torah

I have a private collector who is looking for a super mehudar Sefer Torah - the very best tav, the most hiddurim etc - and he is willing to pay top dollar for it.

If any of you have something to offer, please email me with an official proposition. He needs to buy it officially, from a real company or professional sofer and the offer must be done in writing, with all details about the Torah, like number of lines, and of course, the final price (if the Torah is in Europe, with VAT included).

He is flexible about the size and ksav.

    For him to get a "supper mehudar sefer torah" it would be proper that he pays from the beginning of the writing instead of purchasing a near completed sefer torah as explained in Shulchan Aruch Yoreh 270.

      I just reviewed the above shulchan aruch even if one letter needs to be corrected or finished he is mekayem the mitzvah. There may be some shitos that muvchar is to order the torah and be zocheh in the klaf etc but that is not shulchan aruch.
      by the way if you do buy the klaf and have the sofer write for you, you must pay the sofer every time same day as he asks for money.

    If it is a private collector, maybe he means Hiddurim in an artistic way, more like the Esrog ?

    This is from the sefer Nahar Mitzrayim 270:4 where he clearly writes that one if they cannot commission the writing of a sefer torah from scratch, they should make sure to have the end words left undone.

    היכיא, דלא איפשר ליה לצוות לסופר לכתוב לו מחדש על שמו.
    מאיזה סיבה שתהיה. לפחות ישתדל לקנות ס"ת מיד הסופר שישאיר
    לו איזה תיבות בתחילת הס"ת או בסופו. בלתי כתיבה. ושיכתכס הקוגה
    הוא בידו.

The forum is back online...for reference and research purposes.

 Dear Readers and Members, The forum has been down for over 6 months because the domain name (www.stamforum.com) lapsed and it is no longer available to re purchase. Although this forum is now defunct (it has morphed into several whatsapp groups), I have had many requests to put it back online because it contains so much information (over 1,800 posts and thousands of comments in the discussions, on a wide range of topics related to STa"M). I have therefore put the forum back online at blogger, so the address is www.stamforum.blogspot.com. The forum lasted for a decade...not a bad effort! It was pretty popular back in the days before whatsapp and managed to receive over a million hits in it's short life. It was one of the only organised forums in the  STa"M world and definitely the largest in it's heyday.
