Changes to the layout

Hi all - you would have noticed some changes to the layout of the Forum. We are trying to slowly but surely make the forum as user friendly as possible. Happy to hear feedback privately.
Unfortunately the “new post” button has been removed from the front page of the blog, and we are working at getting this added back. In the meantime you can login to the blogger.com page (the backend side of the blog) and author posts from there.
I apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Comments

  1. Missing the meta data tags snd history links that were so useful. The notify me button only shows up after you click on comment. The banner on top keeps popping down and covering the page in an annoying way.

    1. Hi R' Mendy.
      Thanks for the feedback.

      1. you should still receive notification emails every so often with updated posts. The notify me button would be in relation to a comment which you posted (hence i beleive it only shows up when you click on the comments)

      2. Meta tags: If you are referring to the "Label tags" these are on the left of the website page (if viewing on your computer) or if viewing via a mobile, you have to click on the menu button (top left hand side - looks like 3 horizontal lines). If this is not what you are referring to, please advise.

      3. History links: if you are referring to Archives, this too is on the left hand side of the page. If this is not what you are referring to, please advise.
In addition at the bottom of the page are suggested "Popular posts".

      4. I am unable to remove the top banner, as this is a feature with the layout (unless someone knows how). However, it should really only cover maybe 1cm of the post and will pop back up as you scroll down. It is used as an easy way to get back to the home page or for new users to subscribe or search. It is especially useful in a long post.

Please feel free to email me privately for additional feedback.
