Sefer Torah (klaf Mashuach) with green spots on several of the amudim. Any explanation on what this is, how it happened or a precedent?

    1. Not so Pashut to "just clean off". Although colored writing is not kosher, jst as pencil is not, it's still considered a writing. In Shuchan Aruch Hilchos Gitin, in the Acharonim, it is considered Chok Tochos to remove writing that - if it were black - would disturb the Tzuras Ha'os.

  2. Looks like a dab from a green highlighter marker. Hard to tell from the picture... Hopefully it's superficial.
