A place for English speaking sofrim (scribes), magihim (examiners), rabbis and vendors of Stam (Torah, Tefillin and Mezuzah scrolls) from around the world to communicate, share ideas, ask questions and offer support and advice.
Sefer Torah (klaf Mashuach) with green spots on several of the amudim. Any explanation on what this is, how it happened or a precedent?
Not so Pashut to "just clean off". Although colored writing is not kosher, jst as pencil is not, it's still considered a writing. In Shuchan Aruch Hilchos Gitin, in the Acharonim, it is considered Chok Tochos to remove writing that - if it were black - would disturb the Tzuras Ha'os.
